Although spring hadn't arrived yet, the sunny days and clear blue skies during Paris Fashion Week in early March encouraged people to swap their winter clothing for lighter and more colorful outfits. For a few individuals, this meant making some last-minute shopping trips.

Both at the events and on the streets, a recurring theme was the strong connection between fashion and rock 'n' roll. This was evident in the street styles, featuring leather jackets, flared trousers, and hairstyles that were edgy, angular, and slicked back.

On the fashion runway, Undercover, a Japanese label, embraced a strong rocker vibe, showcasing a collection that seemed to draw influence from iconic female musicians such as Patti Smith and Kim Gordon. Junya Watanabe presented a more artistic vision, blending bell-bottom trousers with imaginative tops, crafting outfits that appeared perfect for the likes of Björk. The essence of Björk was also felt at the Acne Studios show, where a remix of her track “Human Behavior” featured in the background music.
